I admit its a pretty dope idea as the turrets have a real look and even one has an animation when firing.
I've added the large barrel version to the ship turret, should be available after the next restart.

The Idea is simple, he already has the base code of the turret ( which is "basically" rotating to the target's pos and firing a beam at X position ) he just needs to fit this code to the base prop, the rotating base and the cannon. Im not a code expert but I bet this is how it works.
