bugs episode 3

1: If you die while holding the resizer tool and looking at something, the orange resize visual will stay in place, and when removing the prop that caused the visual, the visual goes to 0 0 0 and renders through everything. (resetting rendering might fix this but i haven't tried it)

2: TSCM Jumper roll input goes through when tab menu is open.

3: You can't beam someone who is jammed out of your own life support environment.

4: Some transporters play the beamup sound on materialization when transporting site to site. (Dominion, Klingon, and Romulan) (The TNG and Voyager transporters do it too, but those make sense as they have humming from the transporter pad)

5: Life Support core outputs 0 on Subsystem Health until it takes damage

6: If a TSCM TV's playback gets restarted (say by saying 'server help i cant see') the active playlist will stop and have to be started again

7: Atlantis shield blocks third person camera of seats

8: Occasionally Drive Cores can fly through Atlantis Shields but i'm not sure how

9: The server doesn't download the latest models in Modbridge V2 to the client on connecting, requiring the player to subscribe to the workshop addon

10: In Tactical View on the computer core console, you can only rotate the screen by rightclicking the right side of the screen, or extreme edge of the left side (if res is important, 1360x768)

These should all be fixed after the next restart.

This isn't a bug, a player's environment hasn't ever had any special treatment in terms of jamming.

This happens because the shield is solid, and the default vehicle third person doesn't expose any way to add entities to its ignored list. The only fix would be to re-implement the view which I could do but I'm not sure seat third person is used that much.

I'm going to guess this is a physics engine bug. There's not really anything I can do about it.

This isn't a bug, it's intentional. The workshop addon is in the addon checker list for new players. Having the server download the models would mean you have to manually go and delete files every time there's an update to any of the existing model files.

For some reason I remembered it being a thing in the past :o
