So I know I'm not the only one going to be requesting this, but since Elite Dangerous has a free open beta for the new Fleet Carriers, I think it would be cool to have a new drive similar to ED's Capital FSD. Comment if you support. If you don't then ok.

I totally support the idea, i'll try and record the sounds from ingame when i'll get my own Fleet Carrier ( which will only happen in June ) However I already have the exterior sounds.
I will provide all sorts of Elite Dangerous Clips / Sound files once the update comes live.
In the meantime, this is a good example of what the jump sequence looks like.

I too support this Idea, I have mentioned before that It can be made with some of the current travel mods of the server such as, the Shuttle Transwarp to create the cloud effect, and the warp drive/Hyperdrive making the movement into the window.
If there are some problems with it, could you explain the problems?

The only problem I do see is the fact that during either hyperspace, st warp drive or spore drive, the ship model we see is more laggy than the normal ship. Its ok during hyperspace and such cause the animations are quick, whereas here, the ship will stay in transit for like 10-20 seconds.

By "transit" I mean the time between the beginning of the jump and the time the ship completly entered the portal. Plus if that warp drive is added, I want the tunnel aswell.

I am not sure how the drives on TSCM works, but if im right, the physic part of the prop stays at stationary locations while the visual part is moving. And that causes lag.

It's certainly possible to create this, though as with the other drives that do this kind of thing there will always be a rendering cost associated with it.
